Ethnic studies professor lecture on discrimination

Nandita Sharma, professor of ethnic studies and sociology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, will present a lecture at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Hall Center for the Humanities Conference Hall at Kansas University.

The lecture will be on “No Borders Movements and the Struggle Against National Forms of Discrimination.”

Ebenezer Obadare, assistant professor of sociology at KU, will also provide comments.

The presentation is funded by the Clifford P. Ketzel Endowment for the Expression of Minority Opinions. The departments of political science and sociology are sponsoring the event. A reception and book signing will follow the presentation.
