A 63-year-old man was taken by Life Star helicopter to Kansas University Medical Center on Sunday evening.

The man crashed his motorcycle about 5:45 p.m. Sunday near Lake Pointe Drive and Clinton Parkway, a police dispatcher said. Emergency responders on the scene immediately assessed the man as having significant injuries and summoned the helicopter.

Neither the man’s name nor his condition were available Sunday evening.
