Law enforcement report

¢ A 20-year-old Lenexa woman was struck by a car that later left the scene in front of The Bottleneck, 737 N.H., at 1:52 a.m. Friday. When police arrived, the victim was in the center of the street. She reported that she was walking eastbound on New Hampshire Street when she was hit by a northbound vehicle.

Witnesses identified the driver, a 27-year-old Lawrence man, and said he fled the scene. Police later contacted him, citing him with a failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. The 20-year-old woman was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released.

¢ A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:32 Friday at the intersection of Harper and East 19th streets. An 18-year-old Lawrence woman was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo, turned westbound onto East 19th Street and was struck by a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by a 25-year-old Topeka man.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Two Lawrence men, ages 22 and 23, were issued theft citations about 4 a.m. Friday after two flags were stolen from Hawk’s Pointe 1 Apartments, 1421 W. Seventh St. Police located a vehicle that matched a description provided by witnesses and both flags were found inside.
