Chicago Washington High senior guard DeAndre Liggins, who is still recovering from a broken foot suffered in May, continues to receive recruiting interest from powerhouse programs.

The 6-foot-6 Liggins told the Chicago Sun Times he has a final list of Kansas University, Illinois, Kentucky and Memphis.

He recently made a trip to Lawrence to watch, not play at, Bill Self’s Elite camp, as well as a trip to the U of I.

“I really like Kansas over Illinois,” Liggins told the Sun Times. “I liked their tradition. Their atmosphere is crazy. I like the way Bill Self and the guys treated me.”
