¢ Two people were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday in a one-car accident on the Kansas Turnpike. A 46-year-old Lawrence woman was driving a 2005 Hyundai, sneezed, lost control of the car and struck both bridge walls near mile marker 203 before coming to rest blocking the inside lane of traffic. The driver and passenger, a 78-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman were treated and released at LMH.

¢ Two female drivers crashed their vehicles at 1:40 p.m. Thursday when they were trying to pass a parked work vehicle on Arkansas Street near West 19th Street. A 17-year-old Lawrence girl was driving a 1999 Honda Accord eastbound on West 19th Street behind a 1998 Infinity driven by a 16-year-old Lawrence girl.

¢ A two-car accident occurred at 12:53 p.m. Thursday on Clinton Parkway near Crestline Drive. A 77-year-old Eudora woman was driving a 1999 Mazda westbound on Clinton Parkway and made a left turn onto Crestline in front of a 2002 Honda Civic, striking the vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Lawrence man.

¢ A three-car accident occurred at 12:29 p.m. Thursday. A 48-year-old Eudora woman was driving a Chevy Cobalt westbound on Kansas Highway 10 and stopped for traffic. A second vehicle, a 2007 Hummer driven by a 41-year-old Gardner woman, struck the Chevy from behind and was also struck by a third vehicle, a 2005 Pontiac driven by a 57-year-old Lenexa man, from behind.
