Law enforcement report

¢ A 20-year-old Missouri woman was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Friday after she was reportedly raped. The woman told Lawrence police she did not want to press charges but police are continuing to investigate. Officers are trying to contact a 23-year-old Lawrence man about the incident. The victim and suspect are acquainted, police said.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating incidents allegedly involving aggravated indecent liberties with a child that occurred in January 2000 and January 2002. A 66-year-old man inappropriately touched a girl who was 7 when the incidents began. The incidents were reported last month.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 2000 block of West Sixth Street: A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of a laptop computer between 12:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Monday. The estimated value of the computer was $1,600.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported no fire calls Wednesday.
