A 23-year-old Lawrence man who suffered multiple stab wounds following a fight at a party early Saturday morning has been treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Emergency responders received a call from officials at LMH around 3:30 a.m. that Dominic Esparza was being treated.

Lawrence police officers are still investigating the incident, but believe the victim and his friend attended a house party in the 1300 block of New York where a fight occurred. After leaving the residence, the victim realized his injuries, at which time he was taken to LMH to receive medical attention.
