KU student voted off ‘Big Brother’ show
Kansas University student Carol Journey, 21, from Haysville, was the first person voted off the CBS show “Big Brother 8” during an episode aired Thursday night.
Journey, a former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader and the daughter of state Sen. Phil Journey, R-Haysville, was evicted from the house where cameras film the entire lives of contestants. They compete against each other, and the final houseguest wins $500,000.
Houseguests voted 10 to 1 in favor of another contestant, which sent Journey packing.
