¢ According to Douglas County Jail records, a 23-year-old Lawrence man was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault late Friday night by Lawrence police. Additional information was unavailable.

¢ Sometime between Jan. 3 and Monday, someone entered an office in Wescoe Hall at Kansas University and took a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,574, according to a KU Public Safety office report.

¢ Firefighters assisted with a fire at 2 a.m. Saturday at a trailer in Gaslight Village, 1900 W. 31st St. A propane heater under the trailer caught some insulation on fire, said Division Chief Rob Kort. No one was injured, and residents had mostly extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived.
