Injury accidents

¢ A Lyndon woman was taken to the Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., afternoon after a three-car pileup Saturday in Osage County.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Dixie Osborn, 74, was driving a 1992 Ford Ranger that struck the rear of another vehicle that was slowing to come to a stop on northbound U.S. Highway 75 about 1 mile north of Lyndon to wait for another vehicle in front to turn left.

Osborn was not wearing her seat belt and was listed as the only person injured in the accident, the report said. Drivers and passengers in the two other cars that were struck from behind did not suffer injuries.
