Law enforcement report

¢ Police began investigating a report that a 30-year-old man contacted a 14-year-old Lawrence girl earlier this week. The suspect allegedly attempted to set up a meeting with the girl, according to a police report.

¢ Police are investigating a report that a 19-year-old man had unlawful voluntary sexual relations with a 16-year-old Lawrence woman. The report said that the woman was under the age of 16 when the incident occurred between 2004 and 2006 in North Lawrence.

¢ A 35-year-old man was arrested Saturday for aggressive panhandling in downtown Lawrence. A woman was inside the post office, 645 Vt., when a panhandler asked her for money. The woman became frightened by the aggressive manner in which the man approached her, gave the suspect change and called police.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An aggravated burglary was reported Tuesday in the 400 block of Rock Fence Court.
