Law enforcement report

¢ Police are investigating a report that a 43-year-old man had sent inappropriate letters to a 15-year-old Lawrence girl. The letters were allegedly sent between midnight and 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

¢ A 52-year-old man Tuesday allegedly threatened a 17-year-old boy with eating utensils in the 1900 block of Tennessee Street. The two men are related.

No one was injured during the incident and no arrests were made.
