It’s nearly time again for a favorite holiday tradition. The Children’s Holiday Shop at the Lawrence Arts Center allows children ages 3-12 to purchase gifts for their family, friends and pets, too.

A personal “elf” volunteer will help them shop so that gifts can be a surprise. Gift prices are $5 and under.

The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday for LAC members and from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for the public.

While children shop, parents can listen to local music performances and purchase holiday cookies for $6 per pound at the Cookie Sale. Cookies and treats are prepared by families and friends of the Arts-Based Preschool.
