Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 17-year-old boy struck another 17-year-old boy with an aluminum bat in a dispute Wednesday afternoon outside the Lawrence Virtual School, 2145 La. The suspect also allegedly broke into the victim's car and damaged it with a baseball bat. A subwoofer and 300-watt amplifier were taken from the car. Damage and losses were listed at $900. Information in the case has been sent to the Douglas County district attorney.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ 2000 block of Miller Drive: A 50-year-old male resident reported that a moped worth about $1,000 was stolen sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
¢ 100 block of Comfort Road: Habitat For Humanity reported that $1,360 worth of construction supplies and equipment was stolen between Saturday and Tuesday.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical did not report fire calls.
