Lawrence High’s tennis team tied for sixth at the eight-team Lawrence Invitational on Friday at Lawrence Tennis Center.

Anthony Frei and David Nieto placed sixth in Nos. 1 and 2 singles respectively, each with a 1-2 record. John McGrew and Taylor Seratte went 0-3 at No. 1 singles. Travis Gage and Thomas Zheng went 1-2 and earned seventh at No. 2 singles. The Lions will compete at the Topeka Seaman Invitational on Tuesday.
