Topeka ? The Lawrence High boys and girls track teams took second at the Topeka Relays on Monday at Hummer Sports Park.

Abby Jones set a school record in the pole vault with her first-place leap of 10 feet, 6 inches. Courtney Barber’s high jump of 5 feet, 2 inches was good for first. Barber also won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 47.45 seconds. Kevin Logan took first in the high jump for the boys team with a leap of 6 feet, 4 inches.
