MCPHERSON ? Stef Stuever scored from the right side at the 37:10 mark of the second half, and the Lawrence High defense made it stand in a 2-1 victory Saturday night against host McPherson in the semifinals of the McPherson Invitational girls soccer tournament.

Megan Andrews scored on a breakaway after a cross-field feed by Stuever at the 24:29 mark of the first half.

LHS (2-0) will face Salina South at 8 p.m. Monday in the tournament title game.
