Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 900 block of East 750 Road: a rotary “Bush hog,” 16-foot trailer and tractor valued at $5,095 total were stolen from the driveway of a home between Sept. 14 and Monday while the owner was away. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call the department at 841-0007.

¢ 2900 block of Crestline Drive: a $1,500 Dell Inspiron computer was stolen between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 3:12 p.m. Monday.

Injury accidents

¢ A Tonganoxie teenager was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Tonganoxie.

Brandon Willis, 19, suffered a possible injury and was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., after his eastbound 1987 Chevrolet car was struck by a 2002 Ford car that turned in front of him on U.S. Highway 24.

Robert Jiles, 60, was driving the other car, which was westbound, and had turned to drive south on Ridge Street, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Jiles was not injured.
