Designer of Freedom Tower to speak at KU
Daniel Libeskind, architect and designer of the Freedom Tower, the memorial to the World Trade Center in New York City, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kansas University. The event will be in the Kansas Union’s Woodruff Auditorium.
Libeskind’s visit is in conjunction with his gallery exhibit that opens Wednesday in the Union Gallery on the fourth floor of the Kansas Union. The exhibit, open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, will run through Sept. 29.
