TECUMSEH ? Lawrence High finished third in both the boys and girls standings Saturday at the Shawnee Heights cross country invitational.

Ben Wilson led the LHS boys, taking fifth place in 19:07.6. Jonathan Gabler was 21st in 20:21.6.

Kelly Renfro placed fourth for the LHS girls in 16:10.9, followed by sixth-place Alissa Freeman in 16:26.3.

Manhattan won the nine-team boys title with 41 points; LHS had 76. Manhattan also was first in the 10-team girls standings with 57 points, while LHS totaled 90.
