Law enforcement report

Lawrence Police were investigating a report that a 24-year-old Lawrence resident was stabbed by a female acquaintance between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Monday morning.

The injuries were not life-threatening.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 1400 block of West Third street: A 25-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of $2,786 in items from a 2004 Dodge Stratus sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

Injury accidents

¢ A Linwood woman wrecked her motorcycle while exiting Kansas Highway 10 at Interstate 435 in western Johnson County Wednesday.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Gale Umbenhower, 47, wrecked her Harley Davidson after drifting to the inside shoulder of the highway and losing control.

She was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. She was not wearing a helmet.
