Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence Police were investigating an incident late Saturday night after someone reported a person pulled a gun on them and drove away in the 4700 block of Overland Drive. Additional information was unavailable.
Injury accidents
¢ An Olathe girl was injured Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident east of McLouth.
Marissa James, 16, missed a curve at 1:05 p.m. while driving a 1997 Chevrolet Coupe west on Kansas Highway 16 and then rolled into the ditch east of the road, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
James wore her seat belt and was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Passenger Alyssa Koci, 15, Olathe, was not injured, according to the report.
¢ Medics with Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical transported one person to Lawrence Memorial Hospital at 4:30 p.m. Saturday from a wreck east of Haskell Avenue and 23rd Street.
An accident report was unavailable Saturday night. Fire and Medical Division Chief Rob Kort said the person’s injuries were not life-threatening.
