Injury accidents

¢ A 3-year-old girl was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., Saturday afternoon after an accident in DeSoto involving a four-wheeler and a pickup truck, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s officers said the four-wheeler struck a truck just after noon in the 3500 block of 95th Street, just south of Kansas Highway 10.

The girl and an adult male were riding the four-wheeler. No additional information was available Saturday, officers said.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone broke out a window and took a purse from inside a vehicle from Lot No. 90 at Kansas University. The theft occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. Thursday, according to a Kansas University Public Safety Office report.
