A 41-year-old former Lawrence resident has been convicted of molesting a 10-year-old female acquaintance.

Kevin B. Harrison entered a “no contest” plea Friday in District Court to one count of attempted aggravated indecent liberties with a child and one count of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.

Prosecutors said the crimes happened between January and July 2005, when the girl was 10 years old.

Harrison, who is free on bond, will be sentenced Jan. 12.
