Olathe ? Lawrence High’s volleyball squad went 1-2 at an Olathe East quadrangular Thursday, but made progress, LHS coach Molly LaMere said.

The Lions defeated Shawnee Mission South, 25-19, 25-13, and fell to Shawnee Heights, 25-15, 25-13, and Olathe East, 25-17, 27-25.

LaMere cited the passing efficiency of Emily Renfro, and Emily Bracciano had 29 digs on the night.

The Lions (6-18) will travel Tuesday to Manhattan.
