KU forum to feature breast cancer survivors
Breast cancer survivors will share their stories in a panel discussion at 7 p.m. today in Alderson Auditorium at the Kansas Union.
The panel will include Donna Neuner, facilitator of the Lawrence Breast Cancer Action support group; Julie Cowdin, a breast cancer survivor and colleague of Neuner’s; and Kathy Guth, an advanced nurse practitioner at Watkins Memorial Health Center.
The event at Kansas University is part of Lee National Denim Day campaign, a campaign to raise money for breast cancer research.
