Law enforcement report

¢ Firefighters and police responded to an apartment fire at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Eddingham Drive. The fire was put under control quickly, and no one was injured.

Injury accidents

¢ A McLouth woman went to the hospital with possible injuries Wednesday afternoon after a wreck on Kansas Highway 7 in Johnson County.

It happened at 3:58 p.m. just south of Johnson Drive on northbound K-7. Iva L. Meyers, 58, McLouth, was driving a Mercury four-door north when she stopped in traffic near a stop light and was rear-ended by a 1999 Ford Truck driven by Thomas Ray Newman, 28, Tonganoxie. Both were wearing seat belts.

Meyers was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital by Johnson County MedAct.

¢ Grass fire, 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, 2511 W. 31st St.
