Faculty plan one-day Wheat State Tour

Kansas University faculty are planning yet another Wheat State Tour.

School of Education Dean Rick Ginsberg and faculty and staff from the school will take a “Tour of the Heartland” Oct. 11.

The trip will include meetings with residents and educators in Cottonwood Falls and Council Grove. They’ll also stop at the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site in Topeka and tour Cottonwood Falls and Council Grove.

The trek was inspired by KU’s Wheat State Whirlwind Tour, a 1,500-mile trek across Kansas.
