Chemistry society honors KU vice provost

George Wilson, Kansas University associate vice provost for research, has received the Reilley Award from the Society of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Bioanalytical Systems.

The honor is named for the late researcher Charles N. Reilley, who is considered to be one of the first modern analytical chemists of the mid-20th century.

Wilson, Higuchi distinguished professor of chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry, is receiving the award for his contributions to the theory, instrument development and applications of electroanalysis.
