Injury accident

¢ A Eudora woman was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon near Naismith Drive and 22nd Street.

About 4 p.m., Connie Howell, 59, Eudora, attempted to turn left from the right northbound lane on Naismith Drive, and her vehicle collided with a vehicle in the left northbound lane, Lawrence Police Capt. Ray Urbanek said.

A Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical crew transported Howell to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with a possible injury. A nursing supervisor said she had been treated and released. Urbanek said an officer cited Howell for turning left from the right lane.
