Law enforcement report

¢ Two Topeka men, ages 21 and 22, were arrested Sunday evening after a disturbance in the 2500 block of Redbud Lane. Residents in the area called police after hearing shouting and a window breaking.

The 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to sell cocaine, battery on a law enforcement officer, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. The 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of pulling a knife on a 17-year-old woman.

¢ Police arrested a 22-year-old Ottawa woman, a 23-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman and a 17-year-old Ottawa girl early Sunday after a fight at Last Call, 729 N.H. The fight began inside the bar and continued outside after the women were kicked out, according to a report.

¢ An unidentified burglar caused $2,500 in damage to a neon sign in the entry of Love Garden Sounds, 936 1/2 Mass. The damage happened between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, according to a report. The person also caused $20 in damage to a mailbox.

¢ A 27-year-old Lawrence man went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with injuries he suffered after being struck with a glass or piece of glass Saturday night at the Replay Lounge, 946 Mass. According to a police report, a 36-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man was arguing with his girlfriend around 10:30 p.m. and slammed a glass down on a surface at the bar. The glass flew up and struck the Lawrence man in the face, according to a report. Police are classifying it as a case of aggravated battery.

¢ A 40-year-old Lawrence man went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for injuries he suffered in a fight with his 44-year-old roommate Friday night in the 1500 block of West Ninth Street. Police said the fight happened after one of the men reminded the other that he owed him money.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An 89-year-old woman living at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community, 4851 Harvard Road, is missing her gold-and-diamond family heirloom wedding ring. The director of the community reported it stolen Friday. The ring disappeared between 7 p.m. April 20 and 8 p.m. April 21, according to a report.

¢ A 20-year-old Kansas University student had speakers and amplifiers valued at $1,500 total stolen between 11 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday from his vehicle in the 200 block of Regency Place.

¢ A 22-year-old woman reported her $750 trombone and a $500 case of compact discs stolen between 11 p.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday from her vehicle in the 500 block of Colorado Street.

¢ Beer, liquor and a VCR/DVD player were among the items stolen from an occupied home during a burglary early Saturday in the 1600 block of Kentucky Street. Two men living at the home were listed as victims.

¢ A 12-year-old South Junior High School student had her $1,200 violin stolen from school between 12:45 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Friday, according to a police report.

¢ An $8,000 Ford Ranger belonging to First Management was reported stolen between 6 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Saturday from the 1900 block of Stewart Avenue.

¢ A 41-year-old Arizona woman had a Kia Spectra valued at $16,000 stolen between 3:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. Thursday from Tanglewood Apartments, 951 Ark.
