Injury accident

¢ A Lawrence woman was taken to a hospital early Thursday after an accident in Lenexa at the junction of Interstate 435 and Interstate 35.

According to a report with the Kansas Highway Patrol, Lindsey Williams, 22, was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center after the car she was riding in, driven by Sean Hargis, 18, Lawrence, struck an International truck while changing lanes.

Hargis and the truck’s driver, Gary L. Davis, 52, Tonganoxie, were not injured. A nursing supervisor said Williams was treated and later released from the hospital.
