Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 20-year-old Lawrence man early Wednesday after he allegedly exposed himself at a downtown sandwich shop. According to a report, the man came into Jimmy John’s, 922 Mass., about 2:50 a.m., but an employee told him the business was closed and that he couldn’t order food. He refused to leave the store and then exposed himself, according to a report.

¢ A Lawrence woman contacted police this week after receiving two fraudulent U.S. Postal Service money orders totaling $1,400 from someone she met through the Internet. The person purported to be in Africa and had asked her to cash the money orders, but instead she turned them over to police.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Three Kansas University students living in the 1300 block of Tennessee Street had $4,000 in items stolen from their home between 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to a report. Items taken include computers, video-game systems and a TV.

¢ A Kansas City, Kan., man reported his 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck valued at $20,000 stolen between Saturday and Monday from the Paradise Saloon, 1697 U.S. Highway 40.
