Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone entered an unlocked room in McCollum Hall at Kansas University between 9 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. March 10 and took a laptop computer valued at $1,600, according to a report from the KU Public Safety office.

Injury accident

¢ A Topeka woman was injured in an accident Thursday afternoon on Interstate 70 three miles west of the Lecompton Interchange.

Patti A. Blosser, 50, complained of neck and back pain and was transported to an area hospital after her 1997 Honda was sideswiped at 2:30 p.m. by a black pickup truck in a westbound lane. She tried to correct course but instead her car struck a bridge wall, according to a report from the Kansas Turnpike Authority.

The black truck left the accident scene, according to the report. The report did not list the hospital where Blosser was taken.
