Injury accident

¢ A Lawrence man was injured Thursday night in Leavenworth County east of McLouth when his truck rolled after he missed a curve.

Perry McGhee, 43, was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital from the scene at County Road 8 and Kansas Highway 16, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Hospital spokeswoman Janice Early-Weas said on Friday that McGhee had been treated and released.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone took a Macintosh laptop computer valued at $2,400 from Room No. 207B in Stauffer-Flint Hall between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to a report from the Kansas University Public Safety Office.

¢ Someone took a credit card from a room in Corbin Hall between Aug. 20, 2005, and Feb. 3, according to a report this week from the KU Public Safety Office. The card owner’s name was signed to receipts on various purchases that totaled $2,106.
