Fugitive accused in abduction sought

? Authorities were searching Tuesday for a man wanted for luring a 16-year-old Kansas girl to Tennessee, where she was found last week.

Sean Gregory Fife, 21, of Walland, fled on foot after Sevier County authorities found the girl, who told officers they had been staying in Pigeon Forge motels, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Officials think Fife still may be in the area because he has family nearby, sheriff’s spokeswoman Marian O’Briant said.

Fife had been living in Oberlin, Kan., when he left the state with the girl, whose name was not released because she is a minor.

Fife faces a charges of enticement of a minor for indecent purposes and burglary stemming from an incident in which pistols and shotguns were stolen.

The girl has been returned to her family, O’Briant said.

The U.S. Marshals Service was helping to look for Fife, who is also wanted in Blount County on several outstanding charges.
