Law enforcement report

¢ A fire in an East Lawrence trailer home caused $6,000 in damage Sunday evening.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical officials were called to Harper Woods Mobile Home Community, 2200 Harper, about 6:15 p.m. Sunday after an electrical fire began in a kitchen wall.

The fire was contained to the wall, but it displaced the family living there, Division Chief Rob Kort said. Douglas County Red Cross assisted the family.

No one was injured in the blaze, and both of the family dogs were saved.
