Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 20-year-old Kansas University student reported an iPod and laptop computer stolen between 11 p.m. Friday and 12:50 a.m. Saturday from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street.

¢ A 42-year-old Lawrence man reported $2,270 worth of property, including a wide-screen TV and speaker system, stolen between 5 a.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Friday from his home in the 2300 block of West 26th Street.

¢ A 42-year-old Lawrence woman reported a $1,000 laptop computer stolen between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday from her vehicle in the 4000 block of West Sixth Street.

¢ A 21-year-old Kansas City, Mo. woman reported her $6,000 Pontiac Grand Am stolen between 12:10 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Sunday from the 100 block of East Eighth Street.

Injury accident

A Tonganoxie man was transported to a local hospital with injuries early Friday morning after his car flipped several times in Leavenworth County.

According to a sheriff’s report, Rufino Hernandez was driving north on 222nd Street when he lost control and drove into the ditch. The car then flipped and landed in a patch of trees.

He was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries after being extracted from the car.
