Law enforcement report

¢A 23-year-old Lawrence man was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of kicking in the door of his 30-year-old estranged wife’s home and stabbing her in the leg with a knife while the couple’s two children slept in bed. It happened about 2 a.m. in the 2700 block of Grand Circle. The man was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, intimidating a witness, and violating a restraining order.

¢A 19-year-old Kansas University student reported his 1999 Mercury Mystique valued at $3,000 stolen between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday from the 900 block of Emery Road.

¢A 31-year-old Lawrence man reported his $1,000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck stolen between 1:30 a.m. and 1:35 a.m. Sunday from the 1800 block of West 26th Street.
