Two suspects arrested in Taco John’s robbery
Lawrence Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery earlier this month at a fast-food restaurant.
Michael Scott Moreno, 19, of Lawrence, was arrested Thursday evening and booked into Douglas County Jail on suspicion of charges including aggravated robbery and kidnapping. A 16-year-old boy from Leavenworth County also was arrested.
The two are suspected of putting on ski masks and using BB guns for a Jan. 4 holdup at Taco John’s, 1626 W. 23rd St. Police recovered two BB guns they think were used to commit the crime.
