Injury accidents

¢ One person was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital early Saturday after a two-vehicle accident near the Kansas Highway 10 bypass and U.S. Highway 59.

One vehicle rear-ended the other about 4 a.m. Only one person involved was injured, said Lt. Kari Wempe of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Additional details were unavailable Saturday.
