Law enforcement report

¢ A Kansas Highway Patrol dispatcher in Topeka said at 11:30 p.m. Saturday that a helicopter with a spotlight and several trooper cars near the Kansas River in Lawrence was part of routine traffic patrol.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone took a 32-inch View Sonic liquid-crystal display monitor sometime between 6 p.m. Feb. 10 and 8:10 p.m. Feb. 11 from a room in Murphy Hall at Kansas University.

Loss was estimated at $1,300, according to a report with the KU Public Safety office.
