Scott Penny, a Lawrence High linebacker-tight end, has been named to the 11-member Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Assn. scholar-athlete team.

Kansas University signee Tyler Lawrence, a Shawnee Mission West quarterback, was also named to the mythical squad that will be honored Feb. 26 at a K.C. hotel. Penny, also a state champion weight thrower in track, is undecided about a college choice.
