Law enforcement report

¢ A vehicle knocked over a light pole about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Westlake Ace Hardware, 711 W. 23rd St. A dispatcher said the driver suffered minor injuries.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical workers notified Westar Energy of the incident, and further details about the accident were unavailable Saturday night.

Injury accidents

¢ Two Lawrence residents were involved in a Saturday morning accident on Kansas Highway 10 in Lenexa.

At 8:55 a.m., Melissa Frost, 49, was driving a 2001 Subaru Forester eastbound near the junction with Interstate 435, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol. Lauri Herrmann-Ginsberg, 44, was also driving a 2003 Mazda MPV eastbound in the left lane.

Herrmann-Ginsberg’s vehicle drifted across the center line into Frost’s lane. Frost then moved away and lost control of her vehicle, which rolled into the median, according to the accident report.

Frost was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with a possible injury. A nursing supervisor said Frost was treated and released. Both drivers wore seat belts. Herrmann-Ginsberg was not injured.

¢ A McLouth man lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over into a ditch, in snowy conditions at 7:50 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 70 near Kansas City, Kan.

Charles L. Bostic Jr., 51, was taken to Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., after he complained of head and neck pain, according to a report from the Kansas Turnpike Authority.

A hospital nursing supervisor said Bostic was treated and released.
