Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 27-year-old Topeka man Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened an acquaintance with a gun about 1 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 26th Street.
¢ Since Sunday, police have taken three reports of counterfeit bills surfacing at local convenience stores. The $20 and $10 bills have been reported at Zarco, 1415 W. Sixth St., BP, 1900 Haskell Ave., and Wood Oil Co., 920 N. Second St.
Injury accidents
¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence woman and passengers in her vehicle were injured early Sunday when she drove into a culvert near Clinton Parkway and Hawthorn Drive. A police report said alcohol contributed to the wreck.
Monica B. Farmer was driving her Chevrolet Cavalier on Hawthorn Drive about 3:30 a.m. when she struck a curb and drove into a culvert, according to a report. She and two passengers, Cecilia B. Kilat, 19, and Micah R. Pratt, 18, were taken by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
