The Douglas County District Attorney’s office has charged a 27-year-old Lawrence man with four counts of indecent liberties with a child.

The charges stem from incidents involving at least two girls.

The office alleged that the man had sex with a 15-year-old girl sometime between Oct. 15 and Nov. 15 this year.

The charges also allege that the man, who was listed as a transient, inappropriately touched a girl under the age of 14.

The man was arrested Friday by Lawrence police detectives.
