Law enforcement report

¢ Police arrested a 27-year-old Lawrence woman Thursday afternoon in the 1300 block of Rhode Island for battering a 33-year-old Lawrence man and 35-year-old Lawrence man in an incident at the suspect’s mother’s home. Police allege she tried to spit on an officer and resisted arrest.

¢ Police arrested a 21-year-old Lawrence woman for aggravated battery after a disturbance about 1:45 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of West Seventh Street. She’s accused of hitting a 21-year-old Lawrence man with a wine bottle at his home.

Condition Update

¢ Colleen Skaggs, 31, Lawrence, was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital after she was injured in an accident Thursday night on Interstate 70 near the Lecompton Interchange, a hospital spokeswoman said.
