First talk in series focuses on 9-11

Kansas University will present the first event in the “Peace, War, and Global Change” series at 4 p.m. Friday in the Hall Center Conference Hall.

Panelists will discuss “9-11: A Five-year Retrospective.” Panelists are: Michael Mosser, U.S. Army School for Advanced Military Studies, Fort Leavenworth; Tim Challans, U.S. Army School for Advanced Military Studies, Fort Leavenworth; Diana Carlin, dean, Graduate School and Office of International Programs, KU; and Melissa Birch, director, Center for International Business Education and Research, KU.

Jennifer Weber of KU’s history department will moderate the event.
