Law enforcement report

¢ A Douglas County Sheriff’s officer arrested a 27-year-old Lawrence man Saturday afternoon on a probable cause warrant for aggravated sexual battery. The man was later freed on $15,000 bond, according to jail records. Further information was unavailable late Saturday.

¢ A 40-year-old Eudora man was arrested Saturday evening on suspicion of reckless driving on 23rd Street, said Sgt. Michael Monroe, a Lawrence Police spokesman.

Monroe said the man almost caused an accident while pulling into traffic while turning into the parking lot at Wendy’s, 523 W. 23rd St. An officer also searched the man’s vehicle and found drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine, Monroe said.

He was booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges of driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and two drug-related possession charges. He was later freed on $2,500 bond, according to jail records.
