Trial has been postponed until Feb. 6 for Jason A. Rose, the Lawrence man charged with setting the deadly fire last fall at Boardwalk Apartments in the 500 block of Fireside Drive.

He initially was scheduled to stand trial starting Sept. 18.

The most recent filing in the case is a motion filed by his attorneys seeking to suppress the statement Rose gave to police after the fire.

He remains in the Douglas County Jail.
